The year is 2025. The planet is warming. You're in charge.
You have a century to turn it around, a budget that never quite stretches, and a world full of people who would rather not change.
Every coal plant you shut down, every city you rebuild and every policy you push through leaves its mark on a living globe. Carbon drifts across it on the wind. Storms form out at sea and head for the coast. Forests breathe, dry out, and sometimes burn.
Get it right and the curve starts to bend. Get it wrong and the planet stops waiting for you.
Every choice has a cost
Money, knowledge, construction crews and public support are all limited, and the planet keeps moving while you decide. Some solutions pay off for decades. Some only look like solutions.
A world that answers back
Ice sheets, ocean currents and rainforests all have limits, and some changes can't be undone. Eleven regions each react in their own way to heat, hunger and the people arriving at their borders.
No easy way out
There's no single path to victory. You can build a greener future, bet on technology, or reach for more drastic measures. The game won't tell you which is right.
The story doesn't end when things fall apart
Whatever happens, the clock runs to 2150, and you'll see exactly what kind of world you left behind.
